Our office
hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00 pm.
Universal
Pediatric Advantage
After hours access to a physician means you will never
talk to a third party call service who does not know your child. You have direct access to someone who knows your
child and you will hear a voice that you trust. It is this personalized care that we think makes a difference to
our patients.
Off Hours
After 5pm our phones are transfered to an automated system, If you would like to leave a non urgent
message you may do so. Messages are checked at the beginning of every weekday morning. If you need to speak with
the doctor concerning a sick child you will be given the option to connect directly to Dr.Mele or Dr. Stavitsky.
Urgent Care
Urgent care is available if needed
on weekend mornings. If you call our office number and follow the instuctions, the doctor on call will return
your call. If the doctor determines that you need to be seen she will arrange to meet you in the office that morning.
When you call our office at night and on weekends your calls go directly to one
of the doctors cell phones, cutting out the need for a calling service. Please help us to provide you with
better service by following these helpful tips:
Speak
slowly and clearly.
Leave your child’s last name as it is sometimes different than yours.
Repeat your phone number
twice.
Give a very brief description of the reason for your call.
Please press 1 and 1 again before hanging up or the call
may not be received.
We believe that these steps
will help avoid any confusion or unreturned calls.
